Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your use of VoiceYourNovel at voiceyournovel.com. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

VoiceYourNovel provides an AI-assisted audiobook creation interface: manuscript upload (EPUB, PDF, DOCX, TXT), character detection, voice matching, expressive chapter audio rendering, audio exports (chapter MP3s (ZIP) and chaptered M4B), account tools, rendering credits, subscriptions, API keys, and related support features. Production audio rendering depends on third-party AI voice providers selected and configured by the service operator.

Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued. Preview features may return curated demonstration audio rather than newly rendered production output.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these terms and meet the minimum age required in your location. You are responsible for accurate account information, the security of your credentials and API keys, and activity performed through your account.

Your Inputs

You retain your rights in manuscripts, book files, and other material you submit. You grant VoiceYourNovel and its service providers a limited license to host, process, transmit, and transform that material only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.

You must own or have the rights and permissions needed for every manuscript you upload. Do not upload a book you do not have the right to reproduce, and do not upload private or sensitive information about another person without a lawful basis and appropriate consent.

Rendered Outputs

Subject to applicable law and provider terms, VoiceYourNovel does not claim ownership of the audio rendered from your manuscripts. Synthetic voices are not unique to you and may resemble audio rendered for others. We do not guarantee that a rendered audiobook is copyrightable, registrable, accurate, non-infringing, or suitable for a particular use, including distribution on third-party audiobook platforms.

You are responsible for reviewing rendered audio and obtaining any rights, releases, or professional advice needed before publication or commercial use.

Acceptable Use

Our complete Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into these Terms. It explains our content standards, automated and human review process, reporting channel, appeals, and enforcement actions.

You must not use VoiceYourNovel to narrate, upload, render, or distribute sexual or NSFW content; violent or graphic content; hate speech; child sexual abuse or other child-unsafe content (CSAM); voice impersonation or cloning of a real person without consent; or content that infringes copyright or trademark rights. You also must not use the service for conduct that:

• Violates law or promotes criminal activity.
• Harasses, threatens, defames, or facilitates abuse.
• Deceives people through fraud or presents synthetic audio as authentic human speech to cause harm.
• Violates privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Contains malware or attempts to bypass security, usage limits, or access controls.
• Places unreasonable load on the service or uses automated access outside documented APIs.

We may block a request or output, remove content, limit features, suspend or terminate an account, preserve evidence, and notify service providers or competent authorities when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect others, or comply with law. Suspected violations can be reported through the channel described in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Third-Party Providers

AI voice models, payment services, authentication services, storage, and other infrastructure may be supplied by third parties. Their terms and policies also apply to their services. VoiceYourNovel is not responsible for third-party outages, voice-model changes, policy decisions, or content beyond our reasonable control.

Credits, Subscriptions, and Billing

Paid plans may grant rendering credits for a stated period. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred unless expressly allowed, and may expire as described at purchase. Credit consumption may vary by audio duration, voice model, and rendering quality settings when production billing is enabled.

Subscriptions renew for the selected interval until canceled. You can cancel from the billing workspace and retain access through the paid period unless the checkout terms state otherwise. Prices and taxes may change with advance notice where required.

Except where law requires a refund or a specific checkout policy states otherwise, consumed credits and completed billing periods are non-refundable.

VoiceYourNovel Intellectual Property

The VoiceYourNovel service, brand, interface, software, and original site content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant a right to copy the service, use the VoiceYourNovel marks, reverse engineer restricted systems, or resell access without permission.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, security risk, nonpayment, legal requirements, or conduct that could harm the service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent allowed by law, VoiceYourNovel is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular narration quality or creative result, permanent storage of rendered audio, or fitness for a specific purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, VoiceYourNovel and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
